Hi Bindu, I don’t agree with you. Marriage relationship is entirely different from other relationships. It requires a great responsibility from both sides and the concept of family starts from there. The “label of marriage” adds more responsibility to the family relationship and strengthen it.

]]> By: bindu https://writtenbymanoj.com/living-together-in-india/#comment-179 Fri, 16 Aug 2013 09:20:30 +0000 http://www.maramkoththi.com/?p=1306#comment-179 Hi Manoj,I read some of your blogs and felt ashamed about the thinkings of youth like you.I have lived in 3 districts in kerala from north to south and 3 different states in India and for the past 5 years I was in middle east and presently in an european country.In kerala,when i was working,i came to know about married gents and ladies having illegal affairs and i had friend whose husband married a girl same age as his daughter and this lady want a divorce which he is not ready to sign.In european countries,my daughter’s friends have parents who are married and not married.since education and marraige is not a burden to the parents here, have minimum 3 to a maximum 6 kids at home,which we can;’t think in a country like india. .in a state like kerala,the parents of girls are always in worry about their safety ,even at home they r not safe.A relationship purely depends on friendship,foregiveness and trust,It doesn’t need a label of marraige.THROUGH YOUR BLOGS,try to make the people to respect a relationship whether it is married or unmarried.if a relationship doesn’t go well,they will look after it.it is not our business to comment on it.

I am not against the concept of living together. But I have just quoted its merits and demerits here. As you know our people’s mind, attitude is not yet changed on male-female relationships in India. In any case, it finally affects female part or her morality only. Law, society, even family will say it’s pure her mistake not his.
